Climbing with Erik Breukink

WeY has a long-standing tradition of cycling with its network. Together with Tehava/Isaac-Cycles, we organise an annual cycling event and this year it took place on the Veluwe.

This year we had an impressive "mystery guest" namely Erik Breukink (who doesn't know him)? Erik provided a great climbing clinic. Besides the valuable tips, it was of course cool to be able to cycle next to such an icon.

The group was divided into the cappucino group for the recreational cyclists and a pro tour group for the real fanatics. For those in the know: the Veluwe, with the Posbank as its highest point, was the tour challenge for a nicely mixed group. Complete with motards, broom wagon and first aid, dressed in WeY outfits, the caravan moved through Gelderland. With just under 75 kilometres on the counter, we ended the day with well deserved drinks and snacks.

After events with Leontien van Moorsel and Erik Breukink, it will be a challenge to organise a superlative next year. We will try, of course....
