Next Steps in Industry 4.0

WeY sees an increasing need among its clients to investigate in which way “ Industry 4.0 and Digital Supply Chain” can help them to achieve “a Next Level”. Some are already integrating the possibilities that Industry 4.0 can offer, others are still at the beginning.

To support our customers in this quest, WeY has entered into a partnership with a specialist in this field nl: “Industry 4.0 Maturity Center Aachen”. Jointly WeY helps our customers move forward in this challenge.

Last week, WeY visited this Maturity Center with one of its relations to experience together what Industry 4.0 can offer and how other companies have already put this into practice.

A number of the possibilities were shown in a live simulation and of course there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions related to their own situation.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Medtronic in collaboration with WEY at RWTH Aachen Campus to engage in an inspiring exchange on Industrie 4.0 and Digital Supply Chain Management.

During the visit, we had the opportunity to showcase our current projects and strategies. Simultaneously, we gained valuable insights into the challenges and needs of the industry that Medtronic addresses. This dialogue was highly enriching and undoubtedly will lead to further progress in our field.

This special visit was made possible through the collaboration between the Industrie 4.0 Maturity Center and WEY. I'd like to express my gratitude to Eric Yntema.
