Some Recommendations to Prepare for Your Coaching:

  1. Keep a 3-ring coaching binder so that what you are working with is at your fingertips for review.   Be prepared to take notes at each session so that you have your own record and a reference during the week of what you are working with.   Writing to reference and record is recommended. You can request that I keep notes during a particular session to keep you completely "hands free".

  2. Bring your day-timer or scheduling method with you each time since we will be using it. Have it handy during your call/meeting.

  3. Do your fieldwork each week.   These are tasks, actions, results or changes you are telling yourself and your Coach that you will do your best to complete before our next call. You must apply yourself and use the homework to help you achieve your goals.

  4. Come to the session prepared with an agenda. Have a written list of things you want to share and discuss. This could include: successes and wins you've had during the week; homework status; problems you faced and how you handled them; insights you've discovered; and the topics you want coaching with in this particular session.

  5. Enjoy the coaching process. While we will be working together towards your goals, the process of achieving them can be enjoyable and fun!   Enjoy the journey AND the Goals!

  6. Take care of yourself between sessions.   Coaching requires energy, emotionally, intellectually, and physically. Only you know what self-care works best for you, and I suggest you treat yourself well. Reward yourself when you achieve a milestone! Rest well, have fun with your new approaches to life.
